By logging onto the Housing Portal you will be able to view your account, enter a maintenance request, apply for an upcoming term and much more.
Seneca Newnham – Housing Portal
Guests
Residents can sign in guests at the front desk via the iPads in the front lobby. For the full Guests and Visitors policy please view the Residence Community Living Standards.

Garbage
Residents are responsible for removing their own garbage and recycling from their suite. Each suite was provided with a blue recycle bag to assist with storing and disposing of your recyclables.
King – Garbage and recycling bins are available outside the building to the far right, when you exit the main lobby.
Newnham – Garbage chutes are available at the end of the hallway on every floor and the recycling room is located on the first floor.
Laundry
Laundry is located on the first floor of the King Residence and on floor 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 at the Newnham Residence.
Laundry cards can be purchased for $5 and loaded at the machine. The machine at the King Residence is loaded in the laundry room and outside of the Residence Life office at the Newnham Residence. Alternatively, residents can download the LaundryCat app available in the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
Common Kitchen and Study Lounges
Study lounges are located on every floor, and the common kitchen is located on the first floor at both residence buildings.
Maintenance
Maintenance staff are available to assist with high priority items; Maintenance requests can be submitted through the Housing Portal, by selecting Maintenance on the navigation bar and creating a New Job.
Mail and Parcels
King Residence
Mail and parcels are available for pick up at the Front Desk; an email will be sent to you notifying you to pick up your parcel. The Residence will only accept deliveries from mail and delivery services; we are unable to hold items left by friends/family for Residents.
Mail and parcels should be addressed to the residence address and include your full name.

Newnham Residence
Parcels are available for pick up at the Front Desk; an email will be sent to you notifying you to pick up your parcel. Mail will be delivered to your residence mailbox located on the first floor. You will be sharing your mail box with your roommate and each of you will have a copy of the key. If the Resident loses the mail Key, the Resident will pay $20.00 for replacing the Mail Key. The Residence will only accept deliveries from mail and delivery services; we are unable to hold items left by friends/family for Residents.

Room Key Card
Residence Staff are not responsible for letting you in your room if you misplace or forget your residence key card. Residents can obtain a lockout card or replacement key at the Front Desk at the resident’s expense. $5.00 for a temporary lock out card and $20 for a replacement.
As a reminder, only you can be in possession of your room key. Residents are not permitted to give another individual their room key, as this is a violation of the RCLS.
